On January 31 John Burnett, Community Education Coalition’s President & CEO, was awarded the Indiana University President’s Medal for Excellence by President McRobbie for his part in the collaborative efforts to establish the Indiana University J Irwin Miller Architecture Program in Columbus, Indiana. The award was presented as part of a dedication ceremony for The Republic Building in Columbus as the home of the IU J. Irwin Miller Architecture Program, launched in the fall of 2018. This award is presented to individuals for outstanding academic, artistic, or professional accomplishments and to individuals for exceptional service to the university. John was recognized by President McRobbie for the critical, system-building role he played in the collaborative community efforts to establish the IU J Irwin Miller Architecture Program in Columbus.
